The First Addition is full of older but luxury homes. Unlike some other older parts of Portland, these homes in Lake Oswego First Addition tend to be a little smaller (about 1000 SF) when they were originally built. However, over the years, people have been buying these smaller homes, tear them down and built homes of much larger size (2000 to 5000 SF).

If you're shopping for a home in the First Addition of Lake Oswego, you'll need to watch out for septic tanks and possibly some oil tank issues.
